Fire management: A virtual treatment towards psychological preparedness among health college volunteers in Indonesia

Background: Fire disasters in educational facilities often occur and lead to a lack of psychological readiness volunteers health colleges general.
 Objective: The study aimed analyze the effects fire management: A virtual short film on preparedness university Indonesia.
 Methods: This uses quasi-experimental. sampling technique used purposive with sample 87 respondents who were divided into treatment control groups. Health college recruited from Java, Bali, Sumatera islands. Preparedness for Disaster Threat Scale (PPDTS) questionnaire was used. statistical test is paired t-test Independent Sample T-test. 
 Results: We found difference volunteers’ pre-treatment post-treatment group (p < 0.001) = 0.800). Differences both groups significant 0.001).
 Conclusions: Treatments using technology media, namely films, can virtually influence increasing volunteers. In addition, this intervention be as media promotion that easily accessible everyone face disasters.
